はじめに
阿武隈山地の麓から太平洋を望む浜通り地区は、遠い将来にはリアス海岸になるであろう沖積平野の中を古来より貝塚や石仏群などとともに街道に沿って在と呼ばれる集落の単位が点在しているとても美しい地域です。浜通り地域では中間貯蔵施設や廃炉に向けた取り組みが進められるとともに、原発災害からの復興に向けたさまざまな活動が進められていますが、私たちはこの地域の中で、さまざまな組織と連携して地域活動やモビリティに関する様々なデータを収集し地域理解とマネジメントに向けた共通基盤とするTeXの活動を行いながら、子供たちと共に地域づくりの活動にも取り組み、地域デザインに向けた地域資源の調査と結果の共有化に向けた展示活動に取り組んでいます。帰還を目指すひとたちと、新たにまちづくりに参加する人たちが描く未来の浜通りはどんな姿になるでしょうか。さまざまな人々の交流を通じてこれからの浜通りの地域デザインの支援に取り組む地域デザインセンターと地域デザインミュージアムの活動にぜひご期待ください。

Introduction
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the foot of the Abukuma Mountains, the Hamadori area is an extremely beautiful area with village units called “zai” scattered along the roads, along with shell mounds and groups of stone Buddhas since ancient times, on an alluvial plain that will become a rias coast in the distant future. In the Hamadori area, various activities are underway for reconstruction from the nuclear accident, including the construction of an interim storage facility and efforts to decommission the nuclear power plant. We are also involved in community building activities with children and exhibitions to survey local resources and share the results as territorial design. What will the future Hamadori look like as envisioned by those seeking to return and those newly participating in community building? Please look forward to the Territorial Design Center’s efforts to support the future of territorial design in Hamadori through the exchange of various people.
